Marte Bjerkmo: Kunsten min tar utgangspunkt i analogt foto. Jeg jobber også med teknikker som tegning, maling og silketrykk, ofte i kombinasjon med hverandre. Tematikkene jeg interesserer meg for omhandler skeiv kultur og estetikk, og som skeiv selv er jeg opptatt av spørsmål om identitet, uttrykk og samhold.
Paulina Zieba: I use photography as a way to explore the shadows and mysteries of both the natural world, and the underlying forces that continuously seem to shape our human experience. I draw inspiration from the surreal and the symbolic, folklore and myths, local legends and beliefs that have endured through generations. I have a deeply rooted desire to visually express that there is more to the world than what we can readily perceive.
Goncalo Carvalho: Gonçalo Carvalho's work operates within the field of documentary photography. In his long-term projects, he seeks close connection and engagement with people to gain insight and shed light into their life. In Carvalho’s images, people are consistent subjects, making for a portfolio of photographs that pull in a particularly human way.

Artist talk: Avgangsprosjekter fra fotoskolene

Oslo Fotokunstskole tilbyr to linjer med undervisning i fagene Fotokunst eller Film- & videokunst med vekt på det kunstneriske, visuelle og konseptuelle. I tillegg har skolen kursvirksomhet med korte kurs åpne for alle foto- eller filminteresserte. Skolen har siden oppstart i 1989 fokusert på å være mest mulig aktuell innen samtidsfotografiet og samtidsfilm og video. Skolen legger stor vekt på faglig kvalitet hos lærere og gjestelærere og ser det som viktig at lærerne selv arbeider aktivt med egen kunst og er aktuelle på den samtidsorienterte kunstscenen.
